Thinking about starting up face to face sessions again makes me feel like a bear waking up from hibernation. Maybe a cartoon bear, because in my mind’s eye I am yawning and stretching. (Do genuine bears stretch and yawn?) I blink a few times giving myself time to remember where I am, who I am and what I should be doing next. As I’m crawling out of my cave, the sharp light blinds me for a second. I blink a few times more and wait for my eyes to adjust. Alright, I’ve got it now. I need to remember what bears do after hibernation. They head out, they forage, where is the honey?
I’ll leave the bear-analogy there…
At Headscape Counselling, we are slowly preparing to step out of our cave. We are ready to explore the new season and our new normal. Our online and telephone counselling is still going strong and we will continue offering counselling in this way for the unforeseeable future. At the same time, we are looking into, and taking the necessary steps in returning to Headscape HQ in due course.
Deep cleaning is in progress. Procedures to follow shortly…
